Welcome to the 2024/25 season — our 38th Year!

The Dr. Harold C. Deutsch World War II History Round Table is committed to preserving the factual history of World War II. Through the input of historians, first-hand accounts from individuals, and travel we seek to promote the study of this influential era.

For our first 32 years we met at Historic Fort Snelling,  Beginning in 2019, we meet at the Minnesota History Center.  Programs start at 7:00pm on the second Tuesday of every month from September through May, unless otherwise noted in the Schedule.

From the MN Historical Society regarding Covid-19:
MNHS is excited to welcome you to our historic sites and museums.  Our top priority is to maintain a safe environment for visitors, staff, and volunteers.  We continue to regularly clean high-touch surfaces and provide hand-sanitizing stations for visitors.  We respect each individuals decision regarding face masks. While masks are not required, we welcome staff and visitors who choose to wear them.
If you are feeling sick or have flu-like symptoms, please visit us another time.  Please check the MNHS Covid page for updates.

Student OUTREACH:  Begins at 5:45pm in the Honeywell Room on the 2nd floor. We are organized to maximize conversations between Veterans and Students, with a brief Strategic Overview on the evening’s program topic and introduction of the Author/Lecturer to facilitate youth engagement and understanding of WW2 and its impact on America and the world at large.

Round Table admission is now FREE.  Parking is $6, or $4 for MNHS members; FREE for students (park on Mulberry Street)
