The Dr. Harold C. Deutsch RoundTable is committed to preserving the factual history of World War II. Through the input of historians, first-hand accounts from individuals, and travel, we seek to promote the study of this influential era.
We meet at 7pm on the second Thursday of every month from September through May in the History Center at Historic Fort Snelling, unless otherwise noted in the Schedule.
$5.00 admission is requested to help defray costs. Students are admitted free.
TIME SENSITIVE AND NOTABLE ITEMS:
Bring All 270 Round Table Programs to YouTube Challenge! There are 250 episodes of the World War II History Round Table. Our nonprofit needs your help to meet a $5,000 matching grant to bring these programs to YouTube. This will effectively double your gift. Night time travel may be increasingly difficult for our Greatest Generation to be at the programs as they occur. This effort on YouTube is designed to make these programs available to them, and any others who may be interested, via the internet as a viewing location and time of their convenience. Thank You! Watch the Challenge . . . .
Honoring a Commitment: is the story of WW2 MIA PFC Lawrence S. Gordon who was identified in 2014 after being missing for 70 years. Click here for the story
